1. Ekipa Tasi Mos Atauro - Clean Ocean Team Atauro (Plastic recycle centre)  www.ekipatasimos

Ekipa Tais Mos Atauro’s mission is to remove marine debris from the waters and beaches that surround Atauro. To record the marine debris onto the Australian Marine Debris Initiatives database (AMDI). To assist the community, business and government in reducing their use of single-use plastics. To build a community recycling plant to process some of the marine debris. Upcycle plastic marine debris.

2. Bonecas de Atauro (Doll factory): www,bonecadeatauro.com

This is a women’s co-operative which produces delightful handcrafted dolls, bags and gifts - Jelia 77855765 — open 3.30 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Saturday. The staff will open on Sundays. Bonecas de Atauro is located in Vila.

2. Biojoias: (Jewelery and gift shop): Hearing impaired workers produce the jewellery and gift-wear from local products such as seeds, shells and coconut shell. They are located across the road from the Boneca de Atauro factory.

4. Community Homestays:
January 2017 saw the establishment of Community Homestays in Beloi village. We can facilitate bookings at any of the 7 homestays in Beloi if you would like to access this community based accommodation service. Please contact us for further details.
